　　北京4月23日电(赵方园)由贝勒大学与德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校戴尔医学院联合开展的一项研究显示，老年人经常使用电子设备，与痴呆症风险降低有关联。这项研究发表在英国《自然·人类行为》杂志上。

　　此次研究的动因，源于公众日益担忧与过多使用数字设备会损害大脑健康。但研究的分析结果却恰恰相反——数字技术的使用提升了老年人的认知能力。通过回顾136项研究、涵盖超过40万成年人的数据，并分析平均追踪期为6年的纵向研究，科研人员发现，有证据表明：使用电子设备、接触数字技术，能够改善认知老化。

　　具体而言，使用数字技术可使认知障碍风险降低58%，并且能减缓认知衰退速度达26%。无论是电脑、手机还是互联网，单独使用均对认知能力有积极效果，而混合使用效果最佳。即便在控制了教育、收入、健康等可能对认知产生影响的干扰因素后，数字技术对认知的保护效应依然显著。

　　数字技术是如何发挥其护脑作用的呢？研究人员指出，主要有以下三个途径：

　　其一，数字设备如同“认知健身房”，操作电子设备需要同时处理多种信息流，这种复杂的认知活动比传统的填字游戏更能锻炼大脑的执行功能，从而增强认知能力。

　　其二，它能构建“数字社交圈”，视频通话等功能让老年人能够轻松与远方的亲朋好友保持密切联系，显著减少孤独感，而良好的社交互动间接促进了认知健康。

　　其三，数字技术充当“智能脚手架”，其提供的提醒功能，例如提醒服药、重要约会等，可以帮助补偿记忆衰退问题，使得早期痴呆患者也能在一定时间内维持一定的生活独立性。
